One World 2009

One World 2009 is designed to introduce Young Leaders to the international human rights and development fields. During the 8-week program, Young Leaders will intern with human rights and development organizations in the host countries. Our partner NGOs address issues around education, community development, women’s rights, public health, land rights, governance and democracy.

One World 2009 will have service projects to Cambodia, India, Senegal and Uganda.

Bridges Across Borders is the Coordinating NGO for One World Cambodia.

One World Young Leaders will be placed with one of the following Partner NGOs:

One World India

The Manuski Centre is the Coordinating NGO for One World India.

One World Young Leaders will be placed with one of the following Partner NGOs:

One World Senegal

10,000 Girls is the Coordinating NGO for One World Senegal.

One World Young Leaders will be placed with one of the following Partner NGOs:

One World Uganda

Kairos Charity Community Development Organisation is the Coordinating NGO for One World Uganda 2009.

One World Young Leaders will work with Kairos Public Health and Community Development programs during the summer program.
