Group Leader
Trixie Cordova:

Trixie Cordova is a first year Master of Arts candidate at Teachers College, Columbia University, where she is studying International Educational Development. Originally from Hayward, CA, she graduated from UC Berkeley in 2005 with a BA in Sociology and American Studies, and has consistently pursued opportunities rooted in social justice and education. Currently, she is the Community Outreach Intern with World Up, a non-profit organization in New York City that educates young people about global issues through international artists and hip-hop. Trixie will be volunteering with Cambodia Centre for Human Rights.

Brittney Stewart:

Brittney Stewart is a Texas native who is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Global Health with a minor in International Policy and Management from the University of Southern California. Brittney’s interests include global health, international development, international health policy, and human rights. She is currently the co-coordinator of high school and college clubs for the Afya Foundation, the publicity co-coordinator for USC’s African Americans in Health, as well as the head student researcher for USC’s Health Promotion and Prevention Services. Brittney will be volunteering at Cambodia Reproductive and Child Health Resource Center in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Hnin Yee Lwin:

Hnin Yee Lwin was born in Burma and moved to Long Beach, CA when she was six years old. Currently, she attends Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD pursuing a degree in Public Health. She hopes to earn her graduate degree in public health concentrating on international health, which will lead to a career aboard. Her passion for working in developing countries emanates from her own roots and she hopes to return to Burma as a public health professional and make a difference. Hnin will be volunteering at Cambodia Reproductive and Child Health Resource Center in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Jessica A. Rucker:

Jessica A Rucker is a native Washingtonian and human rights organizer. Through art and culture organizing, Jessica supports hip hop as a global social movement, bringing ordinary people together to take collective action to change the extraordinary conditions of systemic oppression, injustice and discrimination and creating a vision of a better world. Jessica will be volunteering with Tiny Toones.
Rosa Scott:

Rosa Scott is the Assistant Director at the El Puente Beacon Program. She started as a member of the afterschool program and has worked her way up the ladder of leadership. Social justice, human rights and youth development has been instilled in her at an early age and she knows that with opportunities such as this, it will help her make significant impacts in these fields. Rosa will be volunteering with Tiny Toones.
Tim Natividad:

Tim Natividad is a first-generation Filipino American at Brown University pursuing a degree in Ethnic Studies. He has devoted his life’s journey towards finding the bridge between social justice and academia. As a wide eyed teenager, Tim is passionate about empowering communities of color and youth using arts such as spoken word, dance, and poetry. Tim will be volunteering with Bridges Across Borders.
