Marissa Gutiérrez-Vicario

Marissa is a recent graduate from the New York University Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service, focusing on Non-Profit Management and Public Policy, with an International specialization. Last year, she had the opportunity to work with One World in Cambodia, as a Young Leader interning with the Centre on Housing Rights and Evictions (COHRE). She deeply appreciates human rights, hip-hop, community organizing, pop culture, and piñata-making, and feels blessed whenever she has the opportunity to engage in activities involving any combination of them.  Marissa will be working with 10,000 Girls.

Debbie Carey

Debbie Carey is a youth organizer in New Orleans, Louisiana,working around revolutionizing the city public school system with an organization called Frye Youth Squad a youth-led organization established post Hurricane Katrina.  Currently, she is studying political science at Dillard University in New Orleans, Louisiana.  Debbie will be working with 10,000 Girls.

Evelyn Kamgang

Evelyn Kamgang is a native of Cameroon and a graduating senior from Johns Hopkins University. She is passionate about serving marginalized populations and with her B.A. in public health studies, she plans on working with an organization whose mission is to improve maternal and child health. She feels very privileged for this opportunity to join the One World Foundation in working in Senegal.  Evelyn is a GHFP scholarship recipient and will be working at the Shifa-al-Asqam (Healers of the Sick) Socio Medical Center.

Nantrell Malveo

Nantrell Malveo attends Delgado Community College, majoring in RN-Nursing. She has lived in New Orleans, Louisiana her whole life.  She is outgoing, open-minded, free spirited, and adventure loving.  She’s been involved in community development and youth leadership since a young age.  Nantrell is a GHFP scholarship recipient and will be working at the Shifa-al-Asqam (Healers of the Sick) Socio Medical Center.

Olavé Sebastien

Olavé is a Hampton University graduate with a degree in Accounting.  He is currently an English tutor at the El Puente Bushwick Center preparing high school students for the upcoming NYS English Regents exam.  Olavé looks forward to being apart of the Micro Business Enterprise program for 10,000 Girls, Inc. He aspires to become a philanthropist working toward economic development and school reform.  Olavé will be working with 10,000 Girls.

Thomas Sun

Thomas Sun is a rising junior at Columbia University. He is a philosophy and premedical major. He is passionate about public health, with the goal of pursuing an MD/MPH. Thus far he has only been involved with healthcare in Canada and US, and he is looking forward to learning about healthcare on the global stage with the support of the One World Foundation and the Global Health Fellows Program.  Thomas is a GHFP Scholarship recipient and will be working at the Shifa-al-Asqam (Healers of the Sick) Socio Medical Center.
