Mrs. Tiffany M. Gardner has a background in human rights advocacy and corporate law.  She has worked on human rights issues and grassroots organizing throughout Africa, Southeast Asia and the United States.  Mrs. Gardner has published several articles on issues of social justice and global inclusion, including “Radio Jamming: The Disarmament of Radio Propoganda” in Small Wars and Insurgencies, “Race and Federal Recognition in Native New England” in Crossing Waters, Crossing Worlds: The African Diaspora in Indian Country, and “The Commodification of Women’s Work: Theorizing the Advancement of African Women” in the Buffalo Human Rights Law Review”.  Her most recent publication is an article entitled “Human Rights Based Approaches in State Development Programming” that was published by Columbia University Teachers College.  She serves as an independent expert on the UN Advisory Group on Forced Evictions.  Mrs. Gardner is currently the Director of the Human Right to Housing program at the National Economic and Social Rights Initiative.  She is a former associate at the New York law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.  She received a BA from Yale University, a JD from New York University School of Law and a LL.M. in human rights law from Columbia University Law School.

Dana L. Olds

Dana L. Olds is an international development professional with a background in domestic and international program management, particularly in conflict-affected countries. Ms. Olds served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Senegal West Africa, and has experience in numerous other African countries and in Haiti. Ms Olds is currently a senior manager at Chemonics International, Inc. where she serves as manager of the company’s Democracy and Governance Practice. Ms. Olds’ many interests include land reform, transitional justice, minority and indigenous rights, peace building, policy reform, microfinance and women’s rights. Her article, “Micro-Credit, Social Capital and Politics: The Case of a Small Rural Town - Gossas , Senegal ” was published in the Journal of Microfinance.
